On November 28, the last stop of the "2023 Xiaohua Semiconductor Products & Technology Exchange Meeting" ended in Shanghai. Under the leadership of Zeng Guangming, deputy general manager of Xiaohua Semiconductor, the exchange meeting unveiled three new MCU chip products and a number of new application solutions created by Xiaohua Semiconductor online and offline, as well as the latest progress of Xiaohua in MCU application ecology, special SoC and automotive electronics.

       At the beginning of the meeting, Zeng Guangming introduced the development trend of MCU industry technology and the development status of domestic MCU.

      Zeng Guangming concluded that the future trend of MCU technology development is high performance, high integration, high reliability and high security, among which the CPU core will show a high-end development trend. At the same time, the trend of MCU localization is irreversible. It is expected that by 2030, domestic MCUS will occupy 70% share in the automotive field and 85% share in the home appliance field. At present, in the field of electronics, domestic MCU accounts for only about 15%, which also means that domestic MCU growth space is huge.

In this context, as the core subsidiary of Huada Semiconductor Co., LTD., the integrated circuit business platform of China Electronics Information Industry Group Co., LTD., Xiaohua Semiconductor has continued to deepen the MCU business and made considerable progress. In the first three quarters of 2023, Xiaohua Semiconductor achieved more than double-digit growth in the fields of home appliances, water and gas meters, drones, and new energy. Zeng Guangming said that as a chip design enterprise, Xiaohua Semiconductor not only has the core strength of reliability design, full process test and development, network security and functional safety, but also has the soft power of business sustainability management and high research and development investment. In addition, first-class technical services and rich software ecology also build the core competitiveness of Xiaohua Semiconductor.

At this exchange meeting, Xiaohua Semiconductor has three new chip products. The HC32F472 is based on M4 core, 120MHz main frequency, and 512KB Dual Bank Flash. It is mainly used for high-end optical modules and general control applications that require high analog performance. HC32F448 adopts M4 core, 200MHz main frequency and 256KB Flash, mainly for low-voltage inverter motor control, stepper motor drive, industrial servo encoder and other entry-level industrial control vertical subdivision applications. The HC32F052 is based on the M0+ core, the main frequency is 64MHz, and the configuration is 128KB Flash. Typical application scenarios are battery management, sensors, control panel, elevator external call board, motor drive, smart home, etc.

This product & technology exchange meeting was held in Shenzhen, Changsha and Shanghai respectively. More than 500 engineers and industry personnel attended the meeting, and more than 10,000 professionals participated in the exchange online.
